Definitely the best review for real impact this awesome motorcycle has. Finally a really experienced rider riding this as it should be ridden !! I own one and this guy like me has totally got the magic and fun these give you !

You removed the db killer on the arrow, do you notice droning around 3K-6K RPM? I recently put a stock pipe back on mine and a Madstad windscreen, now extremely quiet, but I wonder if my issue was more with the stock windscreen buffeting and not the loud exhaust. My Arrow doesn't have the db killer anymore nor can I find one for it.

Great review. I am thinking about picking a 1050 as summer commuter to work and then you end up driving right past my work in this video.

I have a 07 600rr and absolutely love it. Maybe you’re not good enough for one? The fist bit of kit you need for it is a slow boi hoodie because hard as nails mate!!!!😂 On a more serious note I love it, the fact that it hasn’t got silly power low down I see as a big + I use mine frequently for commuting when I don’t want to burn 20mpg in traffic, the less power low down work really well for calm rides when your not trying to knee down, when the revs are up it’s a different animal. Almost like have two bikes for the price of one.

I’m just sharing my honest thoughts on 6 months ownership of the CBR 600RR. It’s still a fantastic motorbike. And after riding all the 600s it’s absolutely my favourite in class despite the gripes. A know im late to seeing this video, but if your mirrors are vibrating then something is wrong.. I've had my cbr600rr for years its a 2014, even at triple digit speeds mirrors are fine.....

The '07 sprint 1050 ST is my 3rd sprint. Not bad for comfort although my left knee tends to rest hard against the fairing, not so the right. Maybe my legs are asymmetric 😂. NZ new model has mph in big numbers and Km/h in the harder to see smaller numbers. Power is there in spades along with fuel economy that can't be beaten at 21 Km/l or 59 mpg. Ditch the panniers and mount a pack rack.

I would have to disagree with the "not a heavy bike" part 😅 240kg is pretty heavy. Might be a light sport tourer, but if we're comparing it to all motorcycles, it's heavy

Last year I bought myself exactly one of these (also Street Rally w/ titanium Akra) as my second bike. I came from a '94 VFR750 RC36/2 which I rebuilt to a naked bike myself. The VFR is a very heavy bike, but known as a very pleasant "all round" machine. Tbh; I just liked the sound and the reliability. When it came to driving I thought it was Just Okay. Just a bit tiresome on the wrists. Then I went to test drive this MT09, which I'd read & seen the many horror stories about regarding the jerky throttle and torque characteristics. But it was the most pleasant and easiest driving experience ever! And I started off in Standard mode and half-way went to A-mode. No issues whatsoever. I was sold immediately! The only gripe I have is the twitchy clutch. The 'clutch-slip-area' is maybe 5mm on the lever. To this day I have to really focus not to let it stall on first-drive take-off. Other than that: I dont think I'd ever need another bike! Or maybe a Tracer9 for when I'm older and wiser😂

I have a Versys which I'm struggling with due to height, especially with the wife on board. It really worries me. I'm goings to drop it at really low speeds as if I stop on uneven road I'm on tiptoes. The Triumph is on my test ride list. Although it's a little older, it may well give me the confidence to tour with the wife.

when you buy a 600,,, you have to know what your getting.. its not a street bike,, its fine as one,, but its a track bike... and about torque,, put it in 2nd hear at 6k rpm and drop the throttle,, if thats not enough torque for you then you dont know what bikes are about... its gonna drop way more torque till redline than any person will need... wanna go fast in a straight line, buy a 1k and enjoy the insurance payment and near death experiences at will.. this guy will never be pleased because he hasnt taken the bike to the track and probably never will take any to the track to understand what bikes are about... you buy a certain bike because you like it,, not to be perfect in every aspect....

Trem, my favourite review on the sprint ive seen mate so well done there, ive owned over 150 bikes in 17 years from cbr600's to multistrada enduro, Hayabusa and zzr1400 and tour the Pyrenees twice a year plus uk trips between, ive always said that i need 1 bike to get me from north wales to Portsmouth and a different one for spain and never had one bike that has been an absolute all rounder for the whole trip until the sprint st 1050, amazing down to portsmouth and absolutely shines in the pyrenees! YSS rear shock and forks upgraded with Delkevic exhaust, -1 tooth front sprocket, OND Air box mod and tuned to suit and this is by far the best bike i have ever owned.

Great video myguy. Your opinion is minimally biased and i like what details you have to share about the bike. It's reassuring to hear you say the twichy throttle can be loved. I've reserved mine a month ago, got my license yesterday and picking up my bike in 19hours ;) Cant sleep or eat or do anything besides watch review's on the bike and this one is honestly (out of 30 orso, FZ09 & MT09) the best video to watch if you're on the edge of buying the First Gen MT09 Street Rally. (an absolute beauty of a collectors edition, a true pioneer in the Masters of Torque naked series)

That was the same problem I had with my Ducati 848! The mirrors suck ass. You can not see shit behind you. So you never know if the cops are behind you or coming up behind you. #Instant jail time 😆.

What is the comfort level for longer rides on this bike? I had an 2002 f4i that was super comfortable

I got the R version back in 2013 when it first came out. It still comes alive on the twisties and the sound is still every bit as good with an Arrow can. It's confidence inspiring as well as fun.
